Christy Richardson is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with 18 years experience, 2 of which have now been on PEI. Originally from Nova Scotia, she made the move to be with her partner and their golden retriever puppy .
Growing up in Cape Breton, she played various sports and still does to this day. Choosing to go away for school, she graduated on the Dean's list from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Newmarket, ON. Upon her return home she began coaching at her high school alma mater Sydney Academy. She has always loved being part of her community and that continues with her coaching high school soccer at Colonel Gray in her new home!
Her lifetime of playing and coaching has given her an added interest and experience in treating sports related injuries. She's also trained in hot stone massage and cupping therapy as well as having a pregnancy table
Allison St. Pierre is a Manual Osteopath with a background in Clinical Kinesiology. Born and raised in Stratford, Prince Edward Island she has a passion for athletics, fitness and wellness. Allison pursues these passions through her career as a Group Fitness Instructor, Physiotherapy Assistant and Manual Osteopath.
Allison completed an Undergraduate Degree in Kinesiology at St. Francis Xavier University in 2014 and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Professional Kinesiology from Lakehead University in 2016. During her studies she was trained in Fascial Stretch Therapy and has been treating clients with mobility issues as a Clinical Kinesiologist since 2017. During this time, she also got the opportunity to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant where she assisted in exercise prescription, treatment and observing therapeutic assessments. Through this Allison has built a passion for treating people with persistent pain and mobility issues.
Wishing to broaden her therapeutic skills Allison graduated with a Diploma of Manual Osteopathic Practices in August of 2019. She can now treat many chronic dysfunctions including but not limited to persistent lower back, pain, cranial/TMJ issues, GI tract issues, postural neck/shoulder dysfunctions and more.
In January of 2019 Allison was presented with the opportunity to take on a leadership role within reactive health as Wellness Coordinator at reactive wellness. Excitedly she took this chance to bring two passions together as a group fitness instructor and Manual Osteopath by building Wellness Programs designed to help those with specific strength and mobility issues.
